Ron Ben-Israel Cakes

Celebrity chef Ron Ben-Israel turned to Fahey to create a smart, flexible, space where he could artfully hide his tools of the trade and seamlessly convert his acclaimed bakery—as needed—into a classroom, event space or by-appointment-only showroom.

To realize this vision for “the Manolo Blahnik of wedding cakes,” Fahey cleverly transformed the 80-year-old former shoe factory into a sleek and efficient couture cake studio, by custom-designing and fabricating built-in equipment closets that morph effortlessly into decorative walls.
